Visser Properties, LLC
25614 Harold Ct. Edwardsburg, Michigan 49112
(574) 276-2031
May 1, 2017
Dear Debra, Elicia and Historic Preservation Commission Board,
Thank you for allowing me to present my summary at the last board meeting. I really appreciated the
constructive, objective and thoughtful way in which the meeting was conducted for such a scaled
situation. I also appreciate the kind words from the members of the board and executives about my
presentation. Although the circumstances are quite exceptional, my efforts in communicating and
solution -seeking are not — you can count on this manner of care and detail in the work I do, not only
with these issues, but with the home in general, and at all times. Thank you again!
Regarding the report for the COA application I believe I am now submitting all of the information that
you need in order to support a decision to be made regarding the two remaining items as listed in the
attached follow-up letter from Debra Parcell. I presume photos of the egress and air-conditioning
areas were taken at the home when Debra came by, so I have not duplicated them here.
I also appreciate the information regarding wood window frame restoration tips. I have forwarded to
my maintenance partner and we will be looking at that project this Summer. I see the note that a COA
is not needed for this work, but wanted you to know our plans.
Again, I believe we have identical goals, so I look forward to working EXACTLY in the direction the
board feels appropriate for these corrections. As you read and review the attachments, I invite any
follow-up questions or requests for clarifications.
Very, ' cerely,
Dr. David Visser
