Seconded by Commissioner Anderson. <br />President Klusczinski clarified that votes in the affirmative will support the motion to deny the application and <br />reminded the members to state their reasons when voting. Roll call was ordered. <br />Commissioner Gelfman (Aye) — inconsistency between windows chosen, existing windows could be repaired <br />at less cost and just as much efficiency, petitioner was not here <br />Commissioner Anderson (Aye) — based on the standards and guidelines and the ability to preserve the win- <br />dows, discontinuity with materials <br />Commissioner Voll (Aye) — inconsistent and not very convincing evidence that windows are deteriorated be- <br />yond repair, would prefer applicant would be here so applicant could have been educated on how to repair the <br />windows <br />Commissioner Gordon (Aye) — different manufacturer of windows, apparent ability to restore windows, and <br />not meeting the guidelines <br />Commissioner Klusczinski (Aye) — applicant provided no evidence that windows are reasonably deteriorated <br />beyond repair, proposed replacements are not suggesting in-kind material, application is not in keeping with the <br />standards and guidelines for the district, applicant chose not to represent himself this evening <br />Commissioner Molnar (Aye) — disagrees with two different types of materials used, petitioner is not present to <br />answer questions and be instructed on possible ways to restore the windows <br />COMMISSIONERS <br />Thomas Gordon (Vice President) <br />Mike Voll (Treasurer) <br />Jennifer Parker (Architectural Historian) <br />Elizabeth Hertel (Secretary) <br />Kevin Buccellato <br />Brandon Anderson <br />Michele Gelfman <br />Joseph Molnar <br />STAFF <br />Deb Parcell, Deputy Director <br />Brett Hummer, Legal Counsel <br />Steve Szaday, Preservation Specialist <br />HISTORIC <br />PRESERVATION <br />COMMISSION <br />or SOUTH BEND & ST.
