Exterior Work <br />Concrete Removal/ Kitchen Expansion <br />General Description <br />To prepare for a kitchen remodel to be described later in the proposal, we <br />will remove the existing side porch, and build out the kitchen to a similar <br />footprint, utilizing the existing roof line. <br />Removals/ Foundation Work <br />• Saw cut for new sump pit and trench as needed. <br />• Repour when plumber is done with installation. <br />• Demo posts at porch after roof is braced up by others. <br />• Excavate for new addition. <br />• Form and pour footers and foundation walls for new room addition. <br />• Drill and pin new foundation walls to existing using #4 rebar pins. <br />• Install 1/2" x 8" galvanized anchor bolts every 6 linear feet <br />• Saw cut access into existing basement, demo and haul away debris. <br />• Dampproof foundation walls. <br />• Backfill foundation using existing soils. <br />•Demo existing concrete driveway and haul away debris. <br />• Excavate for new sewer line. <br />• Backfill and compact trench after plumber is done with installation. <br />a <br />• ***NOTE: Tree nearby will have roots ripped out and could <br />eventually die - Universal Services is not responsible*** <br />• Supply approx. 18 tons of #8 crushed limestone in driveway for <br />construction and remove and re -spread as best we can in alley when <br />work is complete. Gravel work not to delay final payment or closing <br />out job. <br />• Pour concrete steps in small section leading from new exterior door to <br />side drive area. Lowest step should be flush to house and not extend <br />past. <br />Section of kitchen wall removed. Half walls and floor of porch removed. <br />
