11. Why Applicants Cannot Be at Commission Meeting but Will Be on Phone Stand-by page 10
We are two teachers, and summers are our vacation times. We are usually babysitting our tiny
grandchildren in California, during the summer, while their parents work. Hence, we cannot return
to South Bend without leaving the babies and their parents in a tough spot. However, we will be on
standby phone (at cell phone 574.514.8092), during the entire time of the Historic Commission
meeting, in case anyone there wants to easily reach us. Also, we will return to South Bend during
the time of the excavation, to supervise things, as our children/grandchildren have already made
plans for that period in July. Once the excavation is done, we'll return to babysit in CA until the
South Bend school year begins again.
Contact Info: Please don't mail us at our South Bend address. We are teachers, on summer
vacation in California to babysit our grandkids. We'll return to SBN briefly to supervise the garage
tear -down, then immediately will return to California, to babysit until SBN school starts.
If you wish to contact us by mail, use our CA address: Shrader-Frechette, c/o 330 Cordova St, Unit
312, Pasadena, CA 91101. Cell phone is 574-514-8092.
12. Fee for COA Application
On 5.27-16, we, the owners of the house and the detached garagelcarriage house, sent a letter and
a personal check # 608, for $20.00, from Notre Dame Federal Credit Union, to cover the COA
application fee. It was sent overnight, "express mail," with signature required, so you should
already have received it.
Many Thanks!
Let us know if you want anything else. Our phone is 574.514.8092, and our email is
kshrader@nd.edu
i[t,
