Director's Report <br />October 2015 <br />22 September Prepared and mailed all approved COAs and sent out the 2 denial letters. <br />Approved 2 Environmental 106 Reviews for St. Casimir's National Register. Tree removal RME <br />for 425 W. North Shore and Siding and wood trim replacement RME for 614 S. St Joe. Sent <br />Enforcement information to Commissioner Gordon and Tony Zappia. <br />23 September On site inspection with Steve and meeting with Tim Johnson and Rob Hunter of <br />Kolbe and Kolbe windows at 307 LaMonte. Kolbe will custom make aluminum clad wood <br />windows that will replicate the originals. Drive through Chapin Park to monitor housing stock. <br />Some is in bad to very bad shape; peeling paint issues especially along Park Ave. Another Tree <br />removal RME for 425 W. North Shore. <br />24 September Clarified the dimensional muntin style with Rob Hunter. 3 RMEs for trees with <br />permits from Brent Thompson. Continued research on 541 Ironwood as a candidate for <br />landmarking. Using familysearch.org as a resource. <br />25 September Meeting with SJCo IT, Ian Alford and SJCo Auditor, Mike Hamann about the <br />needs and frustrations of HPC. Office to get new computers. Both seemed impressed with the <br />breadth of expertise and knowledge and the quantity of work. Continued research on 541 <br />Ironwood and "A. Coquillard Estate'; followed up with Mike Voll for clarification. <br />28 September 425 W. North Shore inquiries about River Bank tress, gave homeowner Brent's e- <br />mail information. 1246 E. Jefferson still upset about window COA being denied, addressed his <br />issues and did not address his questions about how to remove his house from the district. Sent <br />Contractor listing to 1225 E. Wayne homeowner. <br />29 September Additional e-mails concerning trees in W. North Shore and windows on E. <br />Jefferson. Homeowner wishes to reapply for October. <br />30 September Submitted fees to Auditor's Office. Routine fiscal Office work. Completed three <br />106 Reviews. Requesting Standards and Maintenance Committee meeting at 1246 E. Jefferson. <br />Meeting with Russ Luchies concerning the pillars on the 1855 Court House. He was meeting with <br />a Abatron Rep about using their moulding product to replicate the south column. <br />1 October General Office Work. Visit to History Museum Archives with Intern, Ty, to <br />research Coquillard addresses and Estate. <br />2 October Reconciled Location Report to Office Excel Spread Sheet. No errors. Sent <br />Michele Gelfman and Brandon Anderson Special Meeting Notification signage for posting at <br />
