For May 18 Historic Preservation Meeting <br />Property Address: 230 East Navarre Street <br />Property Owner: Jerid Wireman <br />Requesting approval for the following: <br />• Attachment #1- Remove sidewalk and steps on the east side of property. Construct a 2 level <br />border/planter/retaining wall 10" high (+or-) the first level and 12" high (+or-) the second level <br />on slope area of entire front yard. Construct a 3' high fence consisting of wire and wood around <br />entire perimeter of front yard excluding the west side of the driveway <br />• Attachment #2- example of fence <br />• Attachment #3- Image of wire used. This wire is known for hogs to brush up against and will not <br />bend out of shape. The other materials used for the fence will be all treated wood, 4"x6" fence <br />posts, 2"x4" wood incasing wire and 2"x6" top rail. Fence to be installed between posts. Front <br />gate lefi.ding to porch will consist of same wood used for back privacy fencing. <br />• Attachment #4- Remove front sidewalk leading to porch and replace with Brown brick sidewalk <br />and front of steps consisting of same material used for landscape border/retaining wall/planter. <br />Replace 8 sections of city sidewalk with concrete. Replace entire front curb. <br />• Attachment #5- Replace driveway with strips of concrete that will be bordered with the same <br />brown brick as used on front sidewalk that leads to porch. My intention here is as the yard is so <br />small I want less concrete with the driveway. <br />• Attachment 6- Trellis type roof to be installed between garage and house. I intend on hanging <br />baskets of plants and flowers in this area. Also see attachment #4 to view the space between <br />the garage and house <br />• Attachment #7- Vinyl white garage doors to replace existing doors. The garage doors may not be <br />as exact as the picture but they will have the pane glass windows on them to blend with my <br />house which also has paned glass windows <br />• Attachment #8- Rear of property photo <br />• Attachment #9- 6' privacy fence will duplicate to mirror picture provided. However the top of <br />the lattice work in the picture will be the same wire as used in the front yard fencing. The <br />6'privacy fence will run the backyard and down the east side of the property to the front corner <br />of the sun porch. <br />• Attachment #10- Picture indicating front corner of sun porch. 6' privacy fencing will run from <br />the back yard at the property line on the east side and west to the front of the sun porch. A gate <br />consisting of the same wire as used in the front yard fencing will be in the middle of the fenced <br />in section <br />• Attachment # 11- Drawing of property O <br />• Yard has been staked by engineer who located original property markers <br />
