Historic Preservation Commission <br />President's Report — June 15th, 2015 <br />* 05/18/2015: HPC Monthly Meeting (Rm 1308) <br />• 05/24/2015 2:45P -6:30P: SB150 Memory Lane -BUILDING SOUTH BEND. <br />Volunteer host Oculus Rift virtual reality station. Represented the HPC in <br />addressing various questions and comments from visitors. <br />o 05/29/2015: Sign formal notifications (addressed to the St. Joseph County <br />Council and the South Bend Common Council), requesting appointees for <br />respective HPC Board vacancies. <br />• 06/08/2015: Discussion with Queenie Evans — Director St. Joseph County Human <br />Resources Department regarding HPC Job Description draft for HPC Executive <br />Director (as prepared by HPC Legal Affairs Committee). Provided updates on <br />time line and anticipated board action. Ms. Evans reiterated HPC authority for <br />hiring staff positions. She conveyed that the job description draft satisfies her <br />earlier recommendations and are in good order. <br />• 06/12/2015 11:07A -11:46A: HPC Special Meeting "Budget 2016" (HPC <br />Conference Room). Members in attendence: Tim Klusczinski, Thomas Gordon, <br />Brandon Anderson, and Mike Voll. Staff in attendence: Catherine Hostetter. <br />Examine budget scenarios for 2016 with emphasis on staff salaries and <br />contractual services. General consent for all revisions made. Proposed budget to <br />be submitted to the St. Joseph County Auditor by June 19, 2015. <br />o Catherine Hostetler announced to all members present, that Michele <br />Gelfman was appointed to the HPC Board by the St. Joseph County <br />Council. <br />
