0 <br />South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting - October 17, 1997 <br />6. NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) <br />e. continued.... <br />eligible to receive. <br />Upon a motion by Ms. Auburn, seconded by <br />Mr. Donoho and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission accepted the counter offer from <br />Emery M. Horvath in the lump sum amount <br />of $50,000, plus real estate taxes for the <br />property located at 1215 Hoffinan Court. <br />The last counter offer received is from Emery <br />M. Horvath for property located at 1219 <br />Hoffman Court. The original purchase offer <br />was $11,500. The staff recommends <br />accepting Emery M. Horvath's settlement of <br />$9,000, plus real estate taxes. <br />COMMISSION ACCEPTED THE COUNTER OFFER <br />FROM EMERY M. HORVATH IN THE LUMP SUM <br />AMOUNT OF $50,000, PLUS REAL ESTATE TAXES <br />FOR THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1215 <br />HOFFMAN COURT <br />Upon a motion by Ms. Auburn, seconded by COMMISSION ACCEPTED EMERY M. HORVATH'S <br />Mr. Donoho and unanimously carried, the SETTLEMENT OF $9,000, PLUS REAL ESTATE <br />Commission accepted Emery M. Horvath's TAXES FOR THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1219 <br />HOFFMAN COURT <br />settlement of $9,000, plus real estate taxes for <br />the property located at 1219 Hoffman Court. <br />E Commission approval requested for <br />proposal from R.E. McCloskey & <br />Associates, Inc. for appraisals in the <br />Main /Jefferson Block and 1100 South <br />Michigan Block in the South Bend Central <br />Development Area and Sample -Ewing <br />Development Area. <br />Mrs. Kolata stated that Richard McCloskey's <br />proposal for appraisal services was accepted <br />at a previous meeting. When Mr. McCloskey <br />received the title information from the <br />Division of Redevelopment, he determined <br />that there were more appraisals than had <br />H:\ HOME\ CPHIPPS \WPDATA \COMMSN\101797.MIN -24- <br />
