OLD BUSINESS (CONT.) <br />a. continued.... <br />Mrs. Kolata stated that to her understanding, <br />the Act was put into the legislation because <br />some people who had applied for tax <br />abatement consideration did not meet some <br />of the filing requirements. <br />Ms. Auburn requested that Mr. Beitzinger <br />request, again, from the Building Department <br />information of any other properties that might <br />have been affected by the old ordinance. <br />Mrs. Kolata asked permission to table item <br />5.a. until the next meeting. There were no <br />objections and item 5.a. was tabled. <br />6. NEW BUSINESS <br />a. Public Hearing on Resolution No. 1540, a <br />supplemental appropriation resolution of <br />the City of South Bend Redevelopment <br />Commission. <br />Mrs. Kolata asked that the following items be <br />entered into the record: Affidavits from the <br />Tri- County News and South Bend Tribune <br />that the Notice of Public Hearing was <br />published in those newspapers on September <br />26, 1997. <br />Mrs. Kolata stated that this resolution <br />appropriates $106,400 from Fund 433, which <br />is the Redevelopment General Fund.
