NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) <br />c. continued.... <br />Economic Development Area. <br />Mrs. Kolata stated that this proposal <br />provides services to take the planning <br />efforts for the property west of the bypass <br />to the next level. She also stated that James <br />Riggs and Owen Rock put together a <br />conceptual plan outlining where the next <br />set of road improvements should be. Mrs. <br />Kolata stated that construction estimates are <br />needed for the next phase of road <br />improvements so that the staff can apply to <br />the Transportation Finance Authority for <br />funds needed to construct the next phase of <br />road improvements. <br />Mrs. Kolata stated that Cole Associates, <br />Inc. will do a conceptual development plan, <br />a preliminary transportation system <br />improvement plan, a drainage system <br />analysis, sewer and water system analysis, <br />a master plan, and they will prepare some <br />promotional material. She also noted that <br />the $89,000 proposal includes some <br />reimbursable expenses. The proposal <br />anticipates that most of the work will be <br />complete by the end of November 1997, <br />with the remainder to be completed by the <br />end of January 1998. <br />Upon a motion by Ms. Schwartz, seconded <br />by Mr. Faccenda and unanimously carried, <br />the Commission approved the proposal <br />from Cole Associates, Inc. for planning and <br />pre- design engineering services for the <br />Master Plan for Airport 2010 Project <br />H:\IiOME\ CPHIPPS \WPDATA \COMMSN\100397.MIN -8- <br />
