28 November - 1 December Office closed for Thanksgiving Holiday <br />2 December Elicia and I met with Todd to discuss the 2014 Restore Michiana series and <br />who will be responsible for which workshops and lectures. Received letter from Anna <br />Stout requesting that her Oak Trees be landmarked. Stall Report on 507 Riverside Drive <br />for windows. Contacted Kacey Hashberger concerning COA application dropped off at <br />Office for 417 W. Navarre. <br />3 December On site photo of vinyl window to be replaced with wood at 417 W. Navarre. <br />Contacted Central Services to have billing for car sent ASAP for payment in this year's <br />budget. Meeting with Ian M. Lockwood of AE COM on the Smart Street initiative. My <br />suggestion that the round about be located at Bartlett and Michigan rather than at Park <br />Lane and Michigan was accepted and supported by all interested parties: Memorial, <br />SBCSC Madison School, Parks Department and Water Works. County Council meeting <br />at 6:00 p.m. for the requested appropriations. <br />4 December Completed Staff Reports for 507 Riverside Drive. Reported goats being <br />walked in front of library on leashes to Common Council Member and Code. Attended <br />the Blighted Housing meeting hosted by the State of Indiana at the St. Joseph County <br />Library at 6:00. Funds are coming from TARP. <br />5 December On site visit to 1311 E. Wayne N. for roofing job by Donat Constructions <br />and 17511 Hepler for photos of oak trees that Anna Stout has requested landmark status; <br />also 539 Riverside Drive brick work. Reconciled November Location Report. <br />6 December Informal meeting with Tom Anderson concerning 230 E. Navarre and 539 <br />Riverside Drive housing rehabilitation projects. Work has stopped on 230 E. Navarre <br />because workers were not getting paid. Prepared Commissioner Packets for mailing. <br />Contacted Javier Aguilar concerning the Daniel Ward Farm and the Gumwood/Cleveland <br />Road Project. <br />9 December Tim Janowiak called to meet about tours for Building 84 on the 20 <br />December. I was on my way to a NICH Finance Committee meeting and declined to meet <br />today. Ti in will arrange for a later date. Researched old EER 106 files for 518 LaPorte. <br />Kim Kilbride called about Marquette School and would like to have a copy of Bill Latoza's <br />memo on Marquette. Scheduled meeting room for 2014 HPC meetings and gave copy to <br />Maintenance Department for housekeeping and security. Followed with Larry Meteiver on <br />Mayor's appointment to Commission. Informal after hours social visit with Stan Wruble <br />(South Bend School Trustee) and Andrea Beachkofsky (former City attorney) at Rotary <br />function, Marquette School did come up. <br />10 December Routine Office work. Post Card sales messages to Mark Tamer (233-2577) <br />of South Bend Chocolate; Leonard Clifton(234 2000) of Double Tree and Phyllis(647 <br />7326) of Cottage Place Gift Shop. RME prepared for 1311 E. Wayne and 417 W. <br />Navarre. <br />
