Talcott, Jr. The walls are <br />horizontal board and batten to I" floor sill, stained cedar siding to the 2nd floor sill and <br />stucco to the frieze board. The hipped roof has asphalt shingles, a 5/12 broad stucco <br />soffit overhangs with hanging gutter and a narrow frieze board. The windows are wood <br />6/1 double hung with casements on the enclosed front porch and rear additions. The <br />wood front door and garage doors have matching distinctive, decorative lights. There is <br />an open side entry concrete porch. <br />ALTERATIONS: The roof is a replacement (1996-0916). All repairs on exterior of <br />house have been in-kind. Concrete Walk replaced with brick to match driveway (1997). <br />Garage re -roof (1992) <br />APPLICATION ITEMS: New fence extension with gate from side yard to corner of <br />garage. In kind design and materials to existing. Also lower alley fence 6" to match. <br />Family needs fenced yard for new dog. <br />DISCRIPTION OF PROPOSED PROJECT: The homeowners wish to install a 54" <br />cedar board fence from the side of the garage to meet current fence and enclose the area <br />for their new family pet dog. There will be a gate in this fence and the fence will match <br />the current fencing. Also the homeowners will lower the existing fence 6 inches along <br />the alley and running parallel to the proposed new fence. All per diagram submitted. <br />STANDARDS AND GUIDELINES: <br />B. Several of the residences are sited on <br />two or more building lots; however, the preponderance of the homes have been erected on a <br />single lot. Most of the properties include a double garage, usually located at the rear of the <br />property. The majority of garages are accessed from straight driveways leading from the main <br />thoroughfare, while a few are accessed from the alley. There are also a few <br />homes with a covered carport located at the rear of the property, .as well as a few with circular <br />driveways.
