612-614 Carroll <br />Coa #2012-0314 Continued with Conditions. <br />"On a motion by Jcrry Niezgodski with a second by Mike Voll to continue the application <br />with the condition that applicant work with Staff to obtain a suitable quote to get windows <br />appropriate to the house and for Staff to give an opinion on the original window style." <br />The Staff was able to ascertain that the windows at 612-614 Carroll were wood 1/1 double <br />hung windows as noted in the survey cards and blow ups of the photographs from 1979 <br />and 1988. The house appears to aluminum sided and from a file photograph from July <br />2001 taken from the alley the window opening on the side appears to have been modified. <br />The file photographs for COA #2007-0607 show the house stripped of the aluminum and <br />with the wood siding and windows being repaired and/or boarded up. <br />The following quotes were received from Pella Windows: <br />For the large north and south side windows: <br />Pella does not make a single double hung window in the dimension of 54"X70". It offers a <br />Non -Standard Size Double Hung Equal Split with a frame size of 27" X 70" for $1,558.98. <br />The house would require two windows totaling $3,117.96. <br />For the north side dining room windows: <br />This opening is 84" X 55" and had three double hung windows <br />Non Standard Size Double Hung, Equal Split Frame Size 28" X 55" $2,073.11 <br />All of these windows are Special Order and Staff has die paper work detailing this <br />information. <br />
