There is a second two storey <br />addition to the south and a one storey addition that remodeled the garage area to create additional living space. The gabled roofs <br />are covered in asphalt shingles and the windows are 8/8 double hung on the original house and 6/6 double hung on the additions <br />double hung. There is wood siding on the house and wood and synthetic siding on the additions. There is a porch at the main <br />entrance with an architectural pediment and pilasters the front door entrance has side lights and a central fan light. <br />ALTERATIONS: The original 2 storey Colonial Revival house was built in 1948 with a breezeway connecting the house to the <br />garage. The exterior walls had wood siding and the gabled roof had asphalt shingles. The foundation is concrete. The two storey <br />addition that enclosed the breezeway was built prior to 1986, The 2007 one storey 1600 foot addition to the south and east of the <br />house along with the expansion of the driveway was approved with COA 2007-0214. The front entrances architectural <br />enhancements were approved with same COA. The roof is a replacement and the storm windows and doors as well. <br />APPLICATION ITEMS: Replacing existing stone patio with brick; adding a pergola over the patio as well as over the gate <br />entrance on Sunnyside adding a raised bed on the east side of patio <br />DESCRIPTION OF PROPOSED PROJECT: The homeowners are going to replace the concrete patio with brick pavers. There <br />will be a flat topped pergola covering the patio with a raised brick bed to the east for plantings. There will also be a flat topped <br />pergola over the side entrance.
