The walls are wood clapboard and the low hipped <br />roof has asphalt shingles. The windows are wood 6/1 double hung with aluminum <br />storms. There is a stoop with brick steps and wrought iron railings to the front door with a <br />hood set upon knee braces above the wood front door. There is an aluminum storm door. <br />There is a detached garage at the rear of the property along the alley that was constructed <br />in 2001 to replace one that collapsed. The garage has vinyl siding to match the reveal of <br />the clapboards on the house and asphalt shingles on the roof that match those of the <br />house. <br />ALTERATIONS: The roof is a replacement (2009-0831). The garage is newly <br />constructed in 2001 (2001-0427-2). A full open front porch was removed in 1937. The <br />storm windows and doors are replacements. <br />APPLICATION ITEMS: The homeowners write: "Currently we have a chain link <br />fence on the west side of our property, in the back yard only. We would like to replace <br />this die with a 6' privacy fence 42' length Buff tech Lexington style, Almond color poly <br />vinyl. Also considering replacement of 26' of fencing in the south east comer of the <br />property next to the garage with same style of fence." Per photographs and site plan <br />submitted. <br />DISCRIPTION OF PROPOSED PROJECT: The homeowners wish to install a solid <br />,vinyl fence along 42 feet of their side yard to replace a chain link fence and to install the <br />same style of fence along 8.5' the alley beginning at the garage going eastward and <br />replace the chain link fence along the east side going 17.5' north to complete the <br />enclosure of the back yard. The remaining property line along the east is enclosed with <br />heavy shrubbery. All of the =fencing will match the color of the house and garage, will be <br />6' in height and the posts will be set into concrete. <br />STANDARDS AND GUIDELINES: <br />B.
