2 November Meeting with Colleen of the CVB at Office. Worked on National <br />Register nominations. <br />3 November Attended meeting in Room 1308 with Greg Kil and BSSB with the <br />Redevelopment Commission and affirmed the availability of the $60,000.00 in grant <br />money for the Conservatories. <br />4 November Prepared for the 7 November Tour with DTSB. Attended meeting <br />with Greg Kil at the Conservatories about the proposed design changes. Attended <br />Miclikma History Group meeting in Plymouth and toured Marshall County Museum. Met <br />with Kurt Garner about terminology in the SOI NR. <br />7 November Met with Steve Szaday about accepting the Preservation Specialist <br />position in 2012 after Wayne retires in November. Reviewed COA for carport at 725 Park. <br />Gave Now & Then tour of South Bend to Notre Dame students for Selena Anders. <br />Prepared for Special Meeting at 5:30 and made presentations. <br />8 November Office Closed for Election Day <br />9 November Reviewed changed on SOI nomination. Prepared COAs for 21 <br />November meeting. <br />10 November Prepared meeting packets and mailed. <br />11 November Office Closed for Veterans Day <br />14 November Attended the Finance Committee meeting for the Northern Indiana <br />Center for History. Worked with new homeowners, Sophie White and Charles Barber, <br />of 219 W. North Shore for RME-COA to remove dead/dying junipers in front yard per <br />Arborcare. Sent Local Contractor Listing in e-mail. Photographed house and dropped off <br />brochures and COA along with Guidelines. Photographed the demolition of Larry <br />Schohl's Riverside rental property. <br />15 November Attended 7:30 Rotary Board meeting- NR Howard Park is <br />scheduled to be Rotary's Centennial project. Followed up on Howard Park fountain with <br />Mike and Phil St.. Claire about die Studebaker Fountain. Attended CVB luncheon with St. <br />,Joseph County Parks and Studebaker Museum staff. Researched Studebaker signage; <br />prepared RME for meeting and complied information for Director's Report. <br />16 November Posted Agendas and Closing notices. Met with Brian Haygood, <br />Chief Inspector for Code concerning the Carriage House at 710 Park; Code has <br />determined that it should be demolished. Contacted Larry Meteiver on the issue, he <br />suggested that Code apply for the COA on behalf of die homeowner to get the process in <br />motion. Staff prepared Report after receiving the application and letter from Code and <br />Wayne's pictures of the Carriage House. Wayne and I met with Sidney Blanclhett about <br />her dispute with Sheriff-Goslin and die botched roofing job and subsequent damage to her <br />
