September 7 Accepted 3 COA applications for September meeting. RME issued for <br />trees on N. Lafayette per City Forester and discussion with Tom Anderson, Public Works <br />Department working on the Lafayette sewer and resurfacing project. <br />September 8 Prepared Staff reports for COAs and RMEs for Commission meeting and <br />Commissioner packets. <br />September 9 St. Casimir Church discussion with Leonard Dobosiewicz about local <br />landmarking to prevent what happened to St. Stephen's. Will follow up with a letter. <br />Discussion concerning "no work from home" policy that doesn't exist. <br />September 10 Payroll. Researched "no work from Home policy" no County ordinance <br />exists. Prepared Commissioner's packets. <br />September 13 NICH Finance Committee meeting. On -sight visit with Alice and <br />Tom at the Oliver Inn; supplied them with formula to remove paint easier with their Speed <br />Heater. Brief discussion with Raphael Morton on the "no work from home" policy. <br />Contacted Larry Meteiver concerning same and other personnel issues. <br />September 14 Began letter to Leonard Dobosiewicz. Began arrangements for meeting <br />with City Officials and BSSB concerning work on Conservatories. Mailed COA to Ken <br />Swank for window replacement on Pine Road, North Liberty land mark. Restore <br />Michiana window workshop attendees listing updated, faxed Spigelmyer attendance <br />guesstimate, event press release and poster/flyer. Spoke with Kerr Roofing on 720 W. <br />Washington re -roof; met with Neil Gilbert concerning re -roof, proposed in-kind work, tree <br />removal and pursuing individual National Register nomination for the house. On-site visit <br />and photographs for COA 2010-0914A&B. <br />September 15 Meeting with Elizabeth and Greg Schoff new owners of 728 Leland who are <br />currently returning the house to single family usage and planning on living there once the <br />renovation is completed. He is a contractor and wants to remove the aluminum siding and <br />aluminum storms and restore clapboards and whatever else he finds underneath as well as <br />build wood storms and restore the wood windows. Gave him the information on <br />Spigelmyer's workshop. The would also like to create a wraparound porch in the front <br />connecting the two side porches and entrances as well as fence the yard in the rear for <br />privacy. Obviously the many entrances to the house will be changed or modified suitable <br />to a single family residence. Met with Chuck Bulot about 720 W. Washington passing <br />Design Review and the delay from the HPC procedures for roof replacement. Completed <br />10 106 Reviews for Grants and Demolitions. Completed letter to Mr. Dobosiewicz on St. <br />Casimir's. Staff Report for Re -roof of 720 W. Washington for Commission's <br />consideration at 20 September meeting. Follow up e-mail call to Carl Littrell about brick <br />Street MOU. No word from John Oxian to date. <br />September 16 Verified reservations for Saturday workshop. Discovered that Staff omitted <br />a COA for 415 LaMonte and e-mailed information to Commissioners. Calculated the <br />amounts for In -Line transfers and turned in for County Commissioners' hearing, 21 <br />September. Completed 8 106 Reviews for demolitions and grants. Received e-mail from <br />
