12. $4,000 events budget tracking -continue to update. Forward to Jennifer Hren <br />at Indiana Landmarks for review. Finalize report and produce copies for <br />inclusion in Commissioner packets or distribution at September meeting. <br />13. Prepare 08.25.10 HPC special meeting minute draft and forward to <br />Commissioners. <br />14. Morris Performing Arts Center Windows -Presentation by Dennis Andres of the <br />Morris and Chris Hartz of James Childs Architects presenting the facts of the <br />deteriorating windows and doors. They were able to collect recommendations <br />from staff and commissioners present as to how they should approach the <br />treatment of the windows. All staff present; Commissioners present included <br />Sandy, Lynn, Linda and Paul Hayden of Indiana Landmarks, representing Todd. <br />Review meeting minutes provided by Chris. <br />15. Local Landmark Preservation Standards -update last page to reflect the 2010 <br />commission and staff. <br />16. 66441 Walnut -Discussion with homeowner, Darlene Thornton, regarding legal <br />rights, Preservation Standards, and revoking Landmark status. Emailed links to <br />HPC webpage. Postal mailed Preservation Standards and copy of ordinance. <br />17. Grants.gov-Register for this site so that in the future, HPC can apply for <br />competitive grants. Also, investigate into a possible grant for digitizing files. <br />Correspondence with County Commissioners office regarding registration. <br />18. Phone call with Tamara Nicholl -Smith of Downtown South Bend regarding <br />Cedar House restaurant moving into JMS Building. Emailed links to COA, <br />Landmarks Standards, and Design Review contact. Phone call with owner of <br />Cedar House regarding COA for new awnings. <br />2 <br />
