IN OUR DISCUSSION IT WAS STATED THAT ALTHOUGH THE <br />TREES MAY SURVIVE THE INITIAL ONSLAUGHT THEY WOULD PROBABLY <br />BEGIN TO DIE OFF WITHIN A SHORT TIME LEAVING THE CONSIDERABLE <br />EXPENSE OF. REMOVAL TO THE HOMEOWNERS. THE CITY WAS WILLING <br />TO REMOVE THE TREES AND THEN REPLACE THE TREES AT AN <br />APPROPRIATE TIME, WITHOUT BURDENING THE HOMEOWNERS WITH THE <br />EXPENSE. <br />COA.
