Wayne South has a 2 storey frame <br />construction that is faced with stucco on an irregular plan with an irregular plan. The house has a gabled <br />roof with front cross gable, simple raking trim and asphalt shingles. There is also a one storcy shed roof <br />section at the rear adjacent to a l storey flat roof rear addition. The windows are 6/6 double hung sash <br />windows with shutters, there is a arched entry doorway with multi -pane glass side windows. There is a <br />diamond pane Window above the entry. There is a 2 car, 2 door brick garage with metal casement <br />windows and gable roof with asphalt shingles. <br />AL'T'ERATIONS: The shutters appear to be plastic or vinyl. The rear addition was constructed prior to <br />1986. The large side kitchen windows are not original. The two smaller windows in the rear of the <br />kitchen area are not original. The side door on the garage is a hollow core interior door that is not original. <br />The garage doors do not appear to be original. The back yard patio area is probably not original neither is <br />the light post at the rear of the yard. <br />APPLICATION ITEMS: Please see attached itemized listing of items .for Landscaping, Garage and <br />House. <br />DESCRIPTION OF PROPOSED PROJECT. Landscaping: The owner wishes to remove the <br />overgrown and over planted landscaping around the entire house and replace Mark Temple's landscaping <br />scheme per diagram submitted. Cover the current cement patio with either brick or stone. Replace a wood <br />east side yard fence with a wrought iron fence with a gate to match or resemble wrought iron gate on <br />west, rear side of house between the garage and house. (See photos) <br />Garage: Restore or replace in-kind garage windows. Replace non original hollow core side door with <br />steel, paneled security door; restore or replace door frames of side door and garage doorway. Add gutters <br />to the garage. Tuck point brick facades as needed. Home: The homeowners have contracted with <br />Schoberg Restorations to restore all of the original windows, replace six non -original windows (three in <br />kitchen, three in addition), with six Wood windows to match the 6/6 double hung originals. This will <br />reduce the number ofwindows on the addition to two and by enlarging the vertical opening and reducing <br />the horizontal opening on the east side of the addition. In-kind replacement of deteriorating brick porch <br />and tuck point all areas of foundation and fireplace as needed. Replace all gutters with new traditional <br />(half round) gutters. Repair soffits and replace alumimun With Wood. Remove all plastic shutters; some <br />may be replaced at a later date with wood. Remove aluminum trim around out side of all windows and <br />restore original materials and paint. Add three outdoor lights, two in rear (See Product information) and <br />one near side door (Homeowner will provide image at meeting) and replace post light in back yard.
