Russell Stapp, <br />ArchitectlWhitcomb & Keller <br />Property Owner: Berry, Daniel and Deborah <br />Landmark or District Designation: East Wayne Street <br />Rating: Contributing <br />DESCRIPTION OF STRUCTURE/ SITE: The home at 1126 E. Wayne Street is a two storey structure <br />with an irregular plan set upon a concrete foundation. The exterior walls are brick. It has a slate gable roof <br />with simple entablature and gable returns. One storey side wing with pent roof at 2nd floor line carried <br />around house. Gable canopy entry with arch under and gable returns with brackets, brick stoop. The <br />windows are double hung 6 over 1, brick soldier course lintels and cast concrete sills. One storey rear <br />enclosed porch, enclosed by vertical wood siding with flat roof, concrete slab on brick. Two car brick <br />garage with double swinging doors with windows, slate gable roof with cornice and trim returns. <br />ALTERATIONS: None known <br />APPLICATION ITEMS: Replace (2) garage doors (carriage style) with (1) carriage door. No windows. <br />Have not used for cars in 30 years (doors small). Want (1) door so is more able to be utilized for cars. <br />
