of this home has been removed and is in the process of being replaced in-kind with new <br />wood siding and trim because of the need for lead abatement. The Preservation Specialist <br />did visit the site recently and concurs that the windows are deteriorating, especially in the <br />bathroom. <br />On a motion by Jerry Niezgodski with a second by Lynn Patrick the <br />Commissioners voted unanimously to approve COA 2009-0908 as presented. <br />B. National Register Nominations: None at this.time. <br />C. Landmarks: St. Paul's Cemetery <br />On a Motion by Tim HIusczinski with a second by Lynn Patrick a Resolution to <br />designate St. Paul's Cemetery as a local landmark was voted unanimously by the <br />Commissioners. <br />III: Hearing of Visitors <br />Comments from a IVY Tech student in an Historic Preservation course at the <br />Madison campus were heard by the Commissioners. <br />IV: Regular Business <br />A. The minutes from the following meetings were accepted by consensus by the <br />Commissioners: July 27, August 17 and August 21. <br />B. Location Report was reviewed. The 2010 HPC County Budget has not been <br />finalized; the City Grant to HPC is in the City's 2010 budget. <br />C. Staff Reports: <br />The correspondence folder was distributed and it was decided that the HPC <br />would participate in the NNN Arts Cafe on November 1, 2009. Lynn Patrick <br />would be there from 10-2 and Catherine Hostetler would be there from 2-5. <br />The Staff Approved COAs were included in the Commissioners' packets. <br />The Directors Report was distributed. <br />D. Committee Reports <br />The President's Report was distributed along with a revised copy of the <br />membership on standing committees. <br />V. Old Business <br />The Director was instructed to set up a work session with the <br />Commissioners and Attorney to discuss the procedures addressed in <br />Resolution 09-02. Commissioners were asked to forward any comments to <br />Larry Meteiver. <br />VI. New Business <br />Todd Zieger proposed the Rushton Apartment Building as a local <br />landmark.
