Riverside Drive <br />Rating: Contributing <br />DESCRIPTION OF STRUCTURE/ SITE <br />The Jones house is a typical square plan, 2+ story American Foursquare house built in 1908 by <br />real estate developer Fred Keller of Whitcomb and Keller renown. The foundation is rusticated <br />concrete black, the I" story is clapboard with an enclosed porch, the 2nd floor is wood shingles <br />above a string course. The roof is a high hip roof with 3 gabled roof dormers, exposed rafter <br />ends, wide overhangs and is covered with asphalt shingles. <br />ALTERATIONS: <br />The HPC survey card, updated in 1998, lists the home as "Altered'; "Excellent". C of A's on <br />file include: <br />1986-0417: <br />Complete tear off and re -roof of house and porch. <br />2001-0710: <br />Tear off and re -roof of carport with in-kind materials. <br />2002-0709: <br />Extension of chain link fence and removal of portion of wood stockade fence. <br />2005-0608: <br />Installation of new storm door. <br />
