Research at NICH Arc <br />February 27 Frmailed minutes of Feb. 23 HPC <br />updates for AT&T publication <br />March 3 Completed final hearing with County <br />ry on Auten Road connector in Portage <br />for SOI National Register Nomination. <br />Mailed and faxed sculpture and B&B <br />issioners for changing the Assistant <br />Director's compensation method. It was unanimously approved. <br />March 4 Followed up with an onsite visit to 1$31 Pierce Qohn and Sophie Walz <br />Farmstead) concerning Mike Dalka's inquiry about a road widening project on Pierce. Attended <br />Phase 1I Howard Park/East Bank presentation by Holl4day Corp and JRR. <br />March 5 Participated in the BSSB/Zoo/Parks me ting about the BSSB plans to assume <br />control of die Conservatories for the balance of 2009, 1 tesearched Mayor's State of the City <br />address for Randy Ray to verify if the Mayor confirmed the City's $300,000.00 commitment from <br />TIF money to move the SOI synagogue to the NICH Clampus. There was no mention. <br />March 6 Completed and e-mailed minutes from BSSB/Zoo/Parks meeting, researched <br />IMLS grants and e-mailed other Grant sources to Ken Kobek for BSSB Business Plan. Audited <br />the Department's Location Report against. Office rccorc is for any discrepancies. <br />March 9 Participated in the Northern Indiana Ce iter for History's Finance Committee <br />Meeting., <br />March 10 Chaired the South Bend Rotary Founda:ion Meeting which included a discussion <br />of the Rotary Band Shell project at Potawatomi Park. On sight visit to Dr. -Lauber's land -marked <br />home on Portage to listen to her concerns about the Alten Road connector that is anticipated to <br />bisect her family's working farm of which only her 47 a res are land -marked. On site walk through <br />of the Conservatories with Mike D. of the Parks Department Maintenance Department and Bob <br />
