When deteriorated beyond repair, they shall be replaced <br />with units and trim resembling the original. <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends approval. This project meets the preservation guidelines as described for a <br />"Rehabilitation" District and further meets the guidelines of the encouraged "Restoration" <br />district. The gable roof is covered with asphalt shingles and simple raking'trim. <br />The first storey has a large front picture window with double 4 light casements in wood frames <br />with limestone sills. There are paired 4 light casements on the 2nd floor. There is a side brick <br />chimney. The entry has a shed canopy supported by turned wood columns and railings set upon <br />a concrete stoop. There is one storey gable roof side wing. There is a detached garage with . <br />siding and a gable roof with asphalt shingles ... <br />ALTERATIONS: <br />The wrought iron posts and railings have been replaced with wood. The vinyl siding on the three <br />sides of the house and second storey on the front of the house as well as the vinyl wrapping of all <br />of the windows have been added. <br />APPLICATION ITEMS: <br />15 solid vinyl replacement windows (15 openings). We are not modifying any openings. Large <br />picture is NOT included.
