Wayne Street is a two <br />storey structure with an irregular plan set upon a concrete foundation. The exterior walls <br />are brick. It has a slate gable roof with simple entablature and gable returns. One storey <br />side wing with pent roof at 2nd floor line carried around house. Gable canopy entry with <br />arch under and gable returns with brackets, brick stoop. The windows are double hung 6 <br />over 1, brick soldier course lintels and cast concrete.sills. One storey rear enclosed <br />porch; enclosed by vertical wood siding with flat roof, concrete slab on brick. Two car <br />brick garage with double swinging doors with windows, slate gable roof with cornice and <br />trim returns. <br />ALTERATIONS: None known <br />APPLICATION ITEMS: Replace (2) garage doors (carriage style) with (1) carriage <br />door. No windows. Have not used for cars in 30 years (doors small). Want (1) door so <br />is more able to be utilized for cars. <br />DESCRIPTION OF PROPOSED PROJECT: The homeowner has engaged Raybuck <br />Construction to replace the existing garage doors with a single, insulated overhead door <br />in a style sympathetic to the existing carriage doors, trim and hardware, see style P2C. <br />The proposed garage door will not have the windows as in existing for safety precautions. <br />Homeowner states -that -the new -garage door-will-be,"more conducive to -being used -for <br />our autos and more accessible by me." Discussion with Wayne Raybuck concludes that <br />they will shore up to remove center post and trim. A new laminated beam (LVL) and <br />framing will be installed.
