HPC has sponsored workshops, lectures and Restore Michiana. The fees charged for the
workshops are structured to recover the costs of the materials. The lectures are free and the
speaker's fees and expenses are covered by grants from Historic Landmarks Foundation of
Indiana. Restore Michiana is a joint venture between HPC and HLFI with fees and admission
charges replenishing a revolving fund for future Restore Michiana. Since 2006 the Office has
recreated the newsletter on a quarterly, The Commission Courier, with Assistant Director Amy
Herdman as Editor.
I would like to recommend that the newsletter be reduced to three times a vear because of the,
increase in postage in May.
