B. TREASURER'S REPORT <br />i. Received as presented. Per Treasurer Chase, any questions should be <br />addressed to Director Hostetler. <br />C. STAFF REPORTS <br />1. Correspondence <br />2. Director — Catherine Hostetler <br />Distributed to Commission. <br />3. Assistant Director — Amy Herdman <br />Distributed to Commission, with flyer for upcoming City Cemetery volunteer <br />training April 5, 2008. <br />4. Legal Counsel — Larry Metiever <br />No report. <br />D. COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />1. President's Report — Tim Klusczinski <br />President Klusczinski praised the recent HPC /HLFI event Restore Michiana. He <br />found the event to be well done and well received and noted that support and <br />attendance seemed on par with previous years. It was reported that other <br />communities throughout Indiana, with the assistance of HLFI, will be replicating <br />this program in the coming months. Photographs taken at the event have been <br />distributed for inclusion in future publications. <br />President Klusczinski wished to especially commend Wayne Doolittle and David <br />Sassano for pinch hitting on the otherwise cancelled Masonry Basics class- great <br />job gentlemen! <br />2. Committee Reports — Advisory Board — Tim Klusczinski <br />Advisory Board is coming together, and there will be an announcement of a <br />meeting very soon. Vice President Patrick will also attend. <br />III. OLD BUSINESS <br />IV. NEW BUSINESS <br />Director Hostetler requested that the Commission consider appointing an Assistant Secretary to <br />assist in official secretarial duties; i.e. signing HPC minutes, etc. <br />Moved: Sassano Second: Chase <br />To charge the Asst. Secretary Approved 6 — 0 unanimously <br />with the identical duties charged to Secretary. <br />Moved: Sassano Second: Patrick <br />To appoint Linda Riley as Approved 6 — 0 unanimously <br />Assistant Secretary <br />V.
