SEP -5-2007 10:29 FROM:
TO:15742359578 P.1
Roofs are an integral part of any building, and at 302 W. Washington our roof is in severe
need of major repairs. At this time, however, we are considering only a couple of smaller
areas where the need is the greatest for repair. Repairs of the "same kind" are out of our
financial reach. Therefore, what we propose is a repair that we can accomplish. This
would consist of the following materials as needed:
• Complete removal of old material (slate)
• New wood only as needed (3/4" be plywood)
• 3 1\4" galvanized nails
• New 15 weight base paper
• 1 1\2" button nails
• Solid roll galvanized flashings 12" wide (to be totally covered)
• Cold cement paste
• To be used around areas such as chimneys and vent stacks in combination with
the fiber reinforcement (for long term strength)
• Fiber reinforcement
• Architectural shingles (estate gray)
• 1 112" electro -galvanized shingle nails
area to be repaired is above the pastors office which is located on the parking lot side of
building directly in front of side drive. A semi — circular area above window with air
conditioner in it.
