Assistant Director's Report <br />HPC Meeting —05.21.2007 <br />■ Completed IHC grant application for the West Washington Walks program. <br />■ Met with John Kovach at St Joseph Library regarding exhibit. <br />■ Participated in Monroe Park/Taylor's Field Spring Clean Up Day. <br />■ Attended Lincoln Highway dedication/open house. <br />■ Secured County Commissioner's approval to travel to cemetery preservation <br />workshop. <br />■ Continued work with Mikki Dobski and the Mayor's office regarding City <br />Celebration events. <br />■ Attended Downtown Revitalization program by ND Architecture students. <br />■ Collaborated with Community Development on historic district signage. <br />■ Attended HPC Emergency meeting regarding Southhold Awards. <br />• Assisted in the preparations for the Southhold Awards breakfast. <br />■ Took receipt of, and mailed, Spring Newsletter. <br />• Attended Cemetery Preservation/Cemetery Landscapes workshop in Greensboro, <br />NC- see report for details. <br />Received notification of selection and award of partial scholarship for Preservation <br />Leadership Training, sponsored by the National Trust for Historic Preservation. <br />• Applied for and received a fellowship for the additional tuition fee for PLT. Total <br />amount of fellowship: $1279.00. <br />■ Notified of award of $2000.00 grant from the IHC in partnership with Historic <br />Landmarks Foundation of Indiana. <br />0 Attended Studebaker Admin. news conference. <br />
