C. COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />1. President's Report — Tim Klusczinski <br />President Klusczinski commended staff on their efforts and hard work regarding City <br />Celebration. <br />2. Landmarks Committee — Chair, Linda Riley <br />Chairwoman Riley will be calling all committee members to arrange a visit to Marquette School <br />and also a meeting to determine a course of action. Meeting scheduled for March 7, 2007 at 9am <br />in the HPC Offices. Meeting will be posted to comply with Indiana Sunshine requirements. <br />3. Southhold Awards Breakfast — Catherine Hostetler <br />Committee/staff have been in contact with the staff of the Palais regarding menus and other <br />details for the upcoming Southhold Awards breakfast scheduled for May 5, 2007. Information is <br />expected in the next few days about pricing for the breakfast which should be in the $10-12 range <br />for a plated breakfast. It may be necessary to raise the rate charged to attendees, but that will <br />depend on our hard costs and other details. That information will be available shortly. <br />IV. OLD BUSINESS <br />President Klusczinski asked the Commission if anyone recalled approving the Advisory Board <br />letter draft at the January meeting. As no one recalled the vote, and it was not recorded in the <br />minutes, Counsel suggested that another motion and vote be taken. Staff will be responsible for <br />preparing and mailing out the approved draft to those on the list of prospective Advisory Board <br />members. <br />Move to approve draft Moved: Patrick Second: Chase <br />Approved: Unanimously <br />V. NEW BUSINESS <br />President Klusczinski requested that Director Hostetler please schedule a meeting with the <br />relevant parties to attempt to solve the chronic email problem experienced by HPC. Some emails <br />aren't received, others aren't sent properly or expediently, and some that are sent are received as <br />spam and don't truly reach the intended recipient. Director Hostetler agreed to contact the county <br />and city computer staffs to find a solution. <br />A prospective new Commissioner was introduced by Vice President Patrick. Ms. Annette Ernst <br />is a resident of St. Joseph County and was present at the meeting.
