DIRECTOR'S REPORT SEPTEMBER 2006 August 22 County Council Committee Meeting for out of line transfers August 23 Meeting with Betsy Harriman and Robert Monroe concerning projects for the Parks in 2006 developed by Amy Herdman, Assistant Director August 26 Meeting with Memorial Hospital concerning parking issues in the NNN and historic districts. August 28 Meeting with Michael Eby, Auditor concerning accessing the Southhold funds for the Commission's Projects. Attended School Board meeting on the 2007 Budget at 5:30pm. August 29 Attended public hearing on the County Budget at 5:30pm August 30 Met with homeowner, Gaie Lynn Shrek, in Edgewater concerning door replacements at 7:30am. September 1 Met with Margaret R. Ridenour, MPA, and Administrative Coordinator with Indiana Economic Development Corporation. Met with Shannon Schmidt and Laura J. Guy of DTSB concerning their program for the City. September 5 Attended the kickoff for the Riverside Trail. Participated in a meeting with Ellen Harper, Director of Indiana Main Street in the Council Chambers. September 11 Met with County Treasurer's Department concerning the tax sale and tagging historic properties on the list. Attended Committee meeting concerning Park's Budget and the Southhold funds at 3:30 and 7pm City Council meeting concerning the Southhold funds. September 12 Participated in the CFH Finance Committee meeting and met Randy Ray, new Director. Attended farewell reception for Mary McLain and the County Council's meeting for the final vote on the 2007 budget. September 14 Met with President Patrick and presented report on the nominees for the Advisory Committee. Attended the River Park Neighborhood Association meeting concerning saving the Conservatories and Greenhouses. September 17 Save the Greenhouses and Conservatory rally at the Park from 1:30-4:00. September 18 Spoke for preserving the Conservatory and Greenhouse complex at die Park Board meeting at 4pm.
