853 Forest <br />Per the Portage Twp Assessor's Notes <br />• Charles Chipfall, bookkeeper, purchased the Lot in 1892. <br />• Dumont & Minnie Lotz, he: school principal, owners from 1899- <br />1901. <br />■ Albert Harlin, occupation unknown, owner from 1901-1904. <br />■ William Happ, real estate developer, owner from 1904-1943. <br />• Willard & Blanche Happ (son of William Happ) owners from 1943- <br />1961. <br />• After 1961, Assessor's Notes are vague and according to the clerk <br />at the office today "improperly recorded." I have attached a copy <br />of their file card to illustrate. The names near the margin at the <br />top, though dated, are not entered in the proper location so <br />ownership information post -1961 is possibly inaccurate. <br />Information will be verified against the current owners abstract <br />when provided tomorrow (9/19/2006). <br />
