NEW BUSINESS (Cont.) <br />a. continued.... <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Donoho, seconded <br />by Ms. Auburn and unanimously carried, <br />the Commission adopted Resolution No. <br />1506 approving a proposed amended and <br />restated lease between the South Bend <br />Redevelopment Authority and the South <br />Bend Redevelopment Commission for <br />certain land and public improvements, <br />approving preliminary plans, <br />specifications and cost estimates, setting a <br />public hearing on the proposed amended <br />and restated lease pursuant to IC 36 -7 -14- <br />25.2, and authorizing publication of <br />notice of the public hearing. <br />b. Commission approval requested for <br />1997 Blackthorn Golf Club Special <br />Promotions and Marketing <br />Promotions. <br />Brian Godfrey, the Golf Pro at <br />Blackthorn presented the 1997 Special <br />Promotions. He noted that the 1997 <br />Special Promotions are similar to the <br />1996 Special Promotions with one <br />exception. In 1996, the one promotion <br />that was offered to some companies that <br />promoted Blackthorn's Golf Club to out - <br />of -town players, is that if they paid for <br />two green fees and a half -cart, they <br />received a half -cart free.
