A-6) Brush on two coats of semi -gloss acrylic latex paint as topcoats <br />to all surfaces of factory -primed storms. <br />B) Repairing and Maintaining Existing Storms <br />B-1) Examine existing storm windows that you are keeping, looking <br />for wood rot, broken glass or failed glazing putty. Re -glaze as <br />needed. Loose mortise and tenon joints should be clamped and re - <br />pinned with metal pins. Do not glue mortise and tenon joints. Repair <br />wood rot with ABATRON LiquidWood & WoodEpox 262-653-2000 <br />or www.abatron.com. <br />B-2) Scrape, clean, alkyd oil prime and brush paint two coats of semi- <br />gloss acrylic latex paint as top -coats to all -surfaces <br />B-3) Re -hang existing storms with two new, galvanized, traditional <br />storm hanger brackets on top. Weather strip according to A-5 <br />13 <br />
