Assistant Director's Report <br />HPC Meeting — 07.17.06 <br />= Prepared HPC Meeting minutes of 06.19.06. <br />■ Accompanied Todd Zeiger and Catherine Hostetler on tour of Studebaker <br />Admin. Building. <br />■ Met with, and prepared packet of information for new owner of The <br />Deen/Lafayette Building, Mr. Kollar. <br />■ Met with Caleb Congrove, who is affiliated with DTSB Inc. <br />■ Accompanied Catherine Hostetler on site tour of county sites in Count_ y Survey <br />to verify information and correct errors. <br />■ Began working on logistics for "Workshop Wednesdays" to be held at St. Joe <br />County Main Library. <br />■ Proofed copy for initial run of new quarterly newsletter, The Commission <br />Chronicle. <br />■ Began researching and designing possible HPC logo designs. <br />■ Began work on fundraising efforts to create artcards, calendars, posters, etc. <br />■ Began research for "The 6 at Risk", a list of the most endangered homes or sites <br />in South Bend/St. Joseph County. <br />■ Made contact with Gene Stowe of the SBT and encouraged him to write profiles <br />on LHD's. Passed along his contact information to President Lynn Patrick, as he <br />requested a contact in her neighborhood for a future story. <br />• Made contact with Bob Radde of South Bend Chocolate regarding creation of a <br />new confection, "History Nuts" with part of profit possibly to benefit HPC. <br />■ Forwarded information to www.preservationdirectorv.com to include The HPC <br />on their website of Indiana historic preservation organizations. <br />■ Initiated contact with St. Joe Chamber of Commerce to add HPC information <br />including LHD's and landmarks to their website: <br />■ Reviewed DTSB 2005 Report, and South Bend's 2005 City Report. <br />■ Visited City Plan website and added feedback supporting historic preservation. <br />
