Joann SporIeder: Can you review what the Commission has in fact done with the restraining... <br />what the building... What I want to ask is: Is the building a landmark or is it in an historic district or a <br />multiple resource district? <br />Catherine Hostetler: It is under interim protection. It is not a landmark. It is in the Studebaker <br />corridor, which is nothing. We have absolutely no claim on this building at all. <br />Joann Sporleder: I move that we rescind the interim protection for Studebaker Building 30-30A. <br />Martha Choitz seconded the motion. It passed unanimously. <br />Ken Fedder stated his appreciation and thanks. <br />C. NATIONAL REGISTER NOMINATIONS <br />1. Owner comments on Walker's Field Shelter House, Northside Boulevard Riverwall, and <br />North Liberty Park <br />Catherine Hostetler: If any representative from South Bend, the County Council, the County <br />Commissioners, or the President of North Liberty would like to make a statement regarding these <br />nominations they are able to do so. We did not receive anything in the mail supporting or rejecting. <br />Todd Zeiger: So, the record will reflect that there are no comments <br />III. REGULAR BUSINESS <br />A. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />Catherine Hosteler: There are no minutes from the November 21St meeting. <br />Martha Choitz asked about the status of application 2005-1012, 1111 Riverside, window replacements. <br />Staff is still setting up an appointment to work with the homeowners and the application was withdrawn. <br />The Commission did have the minutes from the December 14 special meeting to consider. <br />Tim Klusczinski: I will make the motion that we approve these minutes as is. Todd Zeiger seconded the <br />motion, and it passed 5-0 with two abstentions; Mary Jane Chase and Joann Sporleder. <br />Joann Sporleder asked if it was necessary to accept minutes for a special meeting. Shawn Peterson <br />responded that this is a requirement although they can be limited in scope due to the special <br />circumstances of the meeting. <br />B. TREASURER'S REPORT <br />Catherine Hostetler: There is no treasurer's report other than the financial data you have in your <br />packets. A brief discussion ensued between Joann Sporleder and the Director regarding these reports. <br />C. COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />1. President's report: <br />Lynn Patrick asked for volunteers for the Nominating Committee in addition to herself. Joann Sporleder <br />and Todd Zeiger volunteered to serve on the committee. <br />
