REGULAR BUSINESS <br />A. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />October 16th, and 21st 2006 <br />After clarification of a question posed by Commissioner Sporleder, the Minutes as listed above <br />were approved. <br />Moved (16th): Hostetler Second: Choitz Vote: 7-0 <br />Abstention: Zeiger <br />Moved (21$): Hostetler Second: Choitz Vote: 6-0 <br />Abstention: Zeiger, Chase <br />B. COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />1. Treasurer's Report <br />■ Location Report of 10/31/2006 was submitted. <br />2. President's Report <br />■ Contact will be made shortly with those that are listed on the current draft of potential Advisory <br />Board members. Commissioner Chase pointed out an incorrect address on the draft which has <br />been corrected. <br />■ President Patrick is exploring the possibility of a partnership with Zen Cafe to create a special <br />coffee to be used as an HPC fundraiser. <br />■ President Patrick appointed the following to be the nominating committee for 2007 HPC Office <br />holders: Commissioners Chase, Choitz with Commissioner Riley as an alternate. All <br />Commissioners accepted their appointments. <br />3. Landmarks <br />■ A motion was made to suspend the agenda to allow Commissioner Zeiger's power point <br />presentation of South Bend landmarks to follow the Staff Reports. <br />Moved Klusczinski Second: Chase Vote: Unanimous <br />Commissioner Zeiger closed the meeting with a presentation highlighting the variety of city <br />landmarks and their locations within South Bend. Commissioner Zeiger thanked Wayne <br />Doolittle, Amy Herdman and Julie Schutte for their assistance with the presentation. <br />C. STAFF REPORTS <br />Director's Report — Catherine Hostetler <br />Distributed to Commissioners. <br />Hostetler: We've got 3 things that we need to vote on. First of all, the renewal of the Inspector's <br />Contract for 2007, beginning January 1". Renewing Wayne's contract for not more than 30 <br />hours a week at a rate of $22.00/hour. <br />Moved Zeiger Second: Klusczinski Vote: Unanimous <br />Hostetler: The second proposal is to increase the Assistant Director's salary up to $30, 000. <br />Riley: From what? <br />Hostetler: 28, or 27. <br />Riley: So moved. <br />Chase: Second. <br />Patrick: All in favor?
