Lynn Patrick: OK. I'm not sure where your comment is that you're referring to.
Linda Riley: I submit that the formal change be made on Page 7 under B. Landmarks to read 1013 E
Jefferson and not 1031. 7 1 1 1,
Lynn Patrick: And did you have one other correction Linda?
Linda Riley. I can't find it, It's not that important I guess.
Lynn Patrick: OK
Tim Klusczinski. I move to accept the minutes of the June 19, 2006 HPC meeting with both corrections -
one sited by me, Tim Klusczinski, and the other one by Linda.
Martha Choitz: Second
Lynn Patrick. Ok, all in favor? (Various "ayes " heard.) All opposed? (No response) Alright, the
minutes are accepted with two corrections.
Moved: Tim Klusczinski Second: Martha Choitz Vote: 7 -0
(Conversation between Mary Jane Chase and Catherine Hostetler regarding Mary Jane Chase coming to
the office to sign the minutes once the amendments have been made to the permanent record.)
Martha Choitz: Is it too dijji'cult to put page numbers on them as we make them? And perhaps boldface
the names of the people that are involved. I think that would solve a lot without having numbers right
down the side of the page- that seems overkill.
Lynn Patrick: I think that page numbers would be good. Moving along because it's a hot night out there.
TREASURER'S REPORT
Tim Klusczinski. I'm simply submitting the budget location report, but I did have two quick questions for
staff. One, have we received an invoice for the HPC newsletter publication that we recently circulated?
Catherine Hostetler. No.
Tim Klusczinski: Ok. And then, does any postage expense exist in this June budget location report for
that newsletter?
Catherine Hostetler: No.
Tim Klusczinski. Ok. The reason that I'm asking that is only because I received my newsletter in the ;
packet and I'm not sure when it was originally sent out or distributed, so....
Catherine Hostetler: It went out in July.
Tim Klusczinski. Ok, very good. I'm done.
Martha Choitz: It was a very good newsletter.
Catherine Hostetler: Amy wrote it with an article from Lynn. So, we're getting back on track.
Martha Choitz: Yep.
Lynn Patrick. Yep, getting back on there. Alright.... (unintelligible)
Mary Jane Chase: I make a motion that we accept the Treasurer's Report as presented.
Martha Choitz: Second.
Lynn Patrick: All in favor? (Various "ayes" heard.) All opposed? (No response) Motion carries. Moving
onto committee reports.
Moved: Mary Jane Chase Second: Martha Choitz Vote: 7 -0
B. COMMITTEE REPORTS
1. President's Report
Lynn Patrick: Several things... (addressing Catherine Hostetler) did everyone get copies of these
letters that you gave me?
Catherine Hostetler: No.
Lynn Patrick: Ok. We received two letters at the office, onefrom the Indiana Department of
Transportation (reading) this is the record of decisions of the US 31 Improvement Project from
US 30 at Plymouth to US 20 South Junction at South Bend, Marshall and St. Joseph Counties.
Catherine, do I have to read this whole thing into the...?
Catherine Hostetler: No.
Lynn Patrick: Did you bring copies for the people?
Todd Zeiger: I would suggest that you could stop by the office if you wanted to read it.
5
