Staff report on acquisition of <br />property in the Sample Ewing <br />Development Area. <br />Ms. Kolata noted that two counter <br />offers were received. <br />Ms. Kolata noted that the first counter <br />offer was received from Audrey L. <br />Harris for property located at 309 East <br />Broadway Street. The counter offer is <br />in the amount of $1,200.00. The <br />original purchase offer was $600.00. <br />The staff recommends accepting the <br />counter offer. <br />Upon a motion by Ms. Schwartz, <br />seconded by Mr. Faccenda and <br />unanimously carried, the Commission <br />accepted the counter offer from <br />Audrey L. Harris in the amount of <br />$1,200.00 for property located at 309 <br />East Broadway Street. <br />Ms. Kolata noted that the second <br />counter offer was received from the <br />Heirs of Theresia Pope for property <br />located at 713 E. Keasey Street. The <br />counter offer is in the amount of <br />$23,000.00 The original purchase offer <br />was $21,000.00. The staff <br />recommends accepting the counter <br />offer. <br />Upon a motion by Ms. Schwartz, <br />seconded by Mr. Faccenda and <br />unanimously carried, the Commission <br />accepted the counter offer from the <br />H:\ HOME\ CPHIPPS \WPDATA \COMMSN\041897.MIN -7- <br />COMMISSION ACCEPTED THE COUNTER OFFER <br />FROM AUDREY L. HARRIS IN THE AMOUNT OF <br />$1,200.00 FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 309 EAST <br />BROADWAY STREET <br />
