NEW BUSINESS (Cont.) <br />e. continued.... <br />Ms. Auburn asked Mr. Smith how <br />much of the lot did he plan to use. <br />Mr. Smith showed the Redevelopment <br />Commissioners his drawings. His site <br />plan showed a building of <br />approximately 2,500 square feet. <br />Mr. Hunt felt that this project would <br />not be appropriate for this particular <br />site. <br />Ms. Kolata noted that the staff will <br />work with Mr. Smith to find another <br />location for his proposed project. <br />7. PROGRESS REPORTS <br />Ms. Kolata handed out the 1996 Annual <br />Report from the Division of <br />Redevelopment. She acknowledged Amy <br />Tweeten's work in preparing the Annual <br />Report. <br />Ms. Kolata noted that a letter was received <br />from Michael Rippey, President of <br />Meadowbrook Golf Management <br />informing the staff that Blackthorn Golf <br />Course was ranked as the eighth best golf <br />course in Indiana in the May 1997 issue of <br />Golf Digest. <br />Ms. Kolata noted that the Blackthorn <br />Owner's Association had their first <br />meeting and they're in business and very <br />pleased with getting things going.
