r <br />EXHIBIT A - <br />St Joseph County, Indiana <br />Corridor 4 of 4 <br />ALL THAT certain line of railroad situate In the County of St. Joseph, State of <br />Indiana, and being part of the Michigan Central Railroad Company's line of <br />railroad known as the Penn Central South Bend Secondary Track. Such line <br />enters the County near'Webster, passes through Notre Dame, and terminates in <br />the County near South at a connection with another line of railroad known- <br />as the Penn Central Main Line Buffalo- Chicago. The line of railroad described <br />herein is identified as Line Code 8312 In the records of the United States Railway ; <br />'Association. <br />Said line railroad was acquired by Consolidated Rail Corporation (Conrail) <br />through Conveyance document MC- CRC -RP -6, deed by and between Douglass <br />Campbell, as Trustee of the Property of the Michigan Central Railroad Company, . <br />Debtor and Consolidated Rail Corporation, dated March 29,1976, which is <br />recorded on September 19, 1978 in the Recorder's Office of St Joseph County, <br />Indiana in Document No. 7820289. <br />Subsequent to said deed, portions -of the said line were abandoned through_ - <br />Application to the Interstate Commerce Commission under I CC. Docket'- <br />AB 167 (Sub Nos. 672, 407 and 906), being further described as follows: , <br />Sub No. 672, known as the South Bend Secondary; and extending in a general <br />southerly direction from the Michigan - Indiana State Line at approximate railroad <br />Mile Post 6.00 to the switch serving St. Mary's College'at Douglas Road in Notre <br />Dame at approximate railroad Mile Post 9.60, all. as generally indicated on leap <br />attached hereto as Page 9 of 10 of Exhibit A. <br />Sub No. 407, known as the South Bend'Secondary, and extending in a general <br />southeasterly direction from W. Angela Boulevard at approximate railroad Mile ' <br />Post 10.50 to the north side of E. Madison Street in South Bend at approximate ' <br />railroad Mile Post 11.80 all as generally indicated on map attached hereto as. <br />Page. 10 of 10 of Exhibit A, <br />t Sub No. 906, known as the South Bend Secondary, and extending in a general <br />southerly direction from a point approximately 150 feet south -of the south switch <br />of the run around track at approximate railroad Mile Post 10.31 to W.
