HPC President's Report June 18 2007 — Timothy Klusczinski <br />5/22/07 <br />• 3:00 PM Meeting at HPC to discuss evening event <br />• 8:45 PM George Cutter Lampposts Recognition Ceremony at the Michigan <br />Street Bridge. In attendance were Mayor Steve Luecke, Lynn Patrick, <br />Catherine Hostetler, Amy Herdman, Mary Jane Chase, Martha Choitz, Gary <br />Gilot, Carl Littrell, Chuck Leone, and Jennifer Jackson among others. <br />5/30/07 <br />• Amy and Wayne introduced me to Troy Bush while on his tour of historic <br />Chapin Park. Mr. Bush is exploring a unique investment prospect that <br />involves the Drewery's facility. <br />6/1/07 <br />• Staff Meeting to review policy and procedures. Present: Tim Klusczinski, <br />Catherine Hostetler, Amy Herdman, and Lynn Patrick (in- progress arrival). <br />6/4/07 <br />• City Celebration "Fun by the Fountain" debriefing session with Catherine <br />Hostetler, Amy Herdman, Mikki Dobski (Communications and Special <br />Projects) and her assistant Jennifer Jackson. The upcoming "Park After Dark" <br />event scheduled for June 29` 2007 was also discussed. A follow up meeting <br />was tentatively set for June 11. <br />6/4/07 <br />5:30 PM: South Bend Community School Corp. Board of Trustees Meeting. <br />Important topics included reconstruction proposals for Marquette Primary <br />Center as listed in the Lease Rental Revenue Bonds agenda item. Several <br />members of the public expressed a desire to sustain and rehabilitate the <br />current building in lieu of a new facility. <br />6/5/07 <br />• Returned Cemetery conference materials to HPC office. <br />6/6/07 <br />• 3:45 PM: During Wayne's absence, I investigated 319 N. William when a <br />dumpster and pallet of shingles was seen on the property. I took several <br />photographs to document the structure's condition, and met with the Building <br />Department to report lack of permit and C of A. <br />6/7/07 <br />• Met with Suzanne Wilson for a summary of the Portage- Prairie Township <br />Tour. Suzanne asked for the HPC's endorsement of the event through <br />
