JOHN OXIAN: Those standards and guidelines are still supposed to come before the
whole commission. If you read your ordinance, all standards are approved by the
Commission. If you don't bring it before the Commission, then the Commission has not
given you their approval.
CATHERINE HOSTETLER: We have already approved the Chapin Park Standards
and Guidelines. We were just going over the comments left by the seven people out of
the five hundred people that were supposed to make comments on them to see which
ones were to be incorporated into the standards and guidelines and which ones were not.
It was our impression that this was what the Standards and Maintenance Committee was
supposed to do. They were supposed to wade through those comments and take out the
ones that were appropriate and incorporate them back into the standards and guidelines
were they saw fit.
V. NEW BUSINESS — Mary Jane Chase: Minutes
Mary Jane Chase asked commission members for their opinion regarding the following
item: If it would be possible for commission members to get a copy of the completed
monthly meeting minutes ten days after the monthly meeting rather than a week before
the next monthly meeting to allow commission members more time to read them more
thoroughly, make comments, and take action if necessary.
(A brief discussion was held no final action was taken on the matter.)
VI.
