CALLED MEETING TO ORDER <br />LYNN PATRICK: Called the meeting to order at 7:30pm. <br />LYNN PATRICK: I would like to diverge briefly from our regular agenda and move <br />item number 3, (Chapin Park Standards/Historic Districts Report), ahead on the agenda. <br />JOANN SPORLEDER: I will make a motion that item number 3 be moved ahead on the <br />agenda. <br />MARY JANE CHASE: Seconds the motion and it passes unanimously. <br />TIMOTHY KLUSCZINSKI: (Chapin Park Historic District, currently chair of the <br />Local Historic Districts Standards Committee). We came here this evening to address <br />two points of business. <br />1. Due to the controversy in our neighborhood when we were petitioning for a local <br />historic district not long ago, it is the recommendation of our Standards Committee <br />as well as, I believe, a consensus of the Chapin Park Neighborhood Association to <br />endorse a preview of a final document, being the guidebook, when that does <br />happen, before it is adopted by the Historic Preservation Commission. <br />2. Due to the complexity of the document I would like to request that we postpone <br />this and review it at a later date with the Committee of the Whole. <br />JOHN OXIAN: I will make the motion that the Committee of the Whole meet with the <br />Chapin Park Neighborhood Association or their district committee to go over the <br />standards they are proposing. <br />GERALD UJDAK: Seconds the motion and it passes.
