NEW BUSINESS (Cont.) <br />c. continued.... <br />Upon a motion by Ms. Schwartz, <br />seconded by Ms. Auburn and unanimously <br />carried, the Commission approved the <br />proposal from SiteScapes Inc. for <br />professional services in the Airport <br />Economic Development Area. <br />d. Commission approval requested for <br />proposal from Creative Artforms for <br />professional services in the Airport <br />Economic Development Area. <br />Ms. Kolata noted that the staff wants to <br />do some big signs that would be visible <br />from Blackthorn Golf Course, as well as <br />from Nimtz Parkway. She noted that the <br />staff received a proposal from Creative <br />Artforms and the staff recommends <br />approving their proposal. The staff would <br />like to purchase four of the 8 x 8 signs, as <br />well as the design specs and colors for the <br />sign listed in number five of their <br />proposal. <br />Ms. Kolata noted that the Creative <br />Artforms proposal calls for a 40% down <br />payment and the staff recommends <br />rejecting the 40% down payment. <br />Upon a motion by Ms. Auburn, seconded <br />by Ms. Schwartz and unanimously <br />carried, the Commission approved the <br />proposal from Creative Artforms to <br />purchase four 8 x 8 signs as well as the <br />design specs and colors for the sign listed <br />in number 5 of their proposal for the <br />Airport Economic Development Area. <br />H:\ HOME \CPHMPS \WPDATA \COMMSN\040497.MIN -8- <br />COMMISSION APPROVED THE PROPOSAL FROM <br />SITESCAPES INC.
