South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting - April 4, 1997 <br />4. COMMUNICATIONS (CONT.) <br />proposal to purchase the Dreisbach <br />property for submission as a possible <br />location for a new Social Security Office. <br />They asked that their performance <br />guarantee check be returned. Ms. Kolata <br />stated that the staff will return the check. <br />5. OLD BUSINESS <br />There was no Old Business. <br />6. NEW BUSINESS <br />a. Commission approval requested for <br />Resolution No. 1501 approving a <br />transfer of real property to the City of <br />South Bend, Indiana for the use and <br />benefit of its Park Department. <br />Ms. Kolata noted that this resolution <br />authorizes the Commission to transfer title <br />to Coveleski Stadium to the City of South <br />Bend for the Park Department. She noted <br />that the Redevelopment Commission <br />became the owner of the Coveleski <br />Stadium when the Bonds were paid -off in <br />March 1997. Before then, the <br />Redevelopment Authority was the owner <br />while the financing was still in place. <br />Ms. Schwartz quoted F.
