I believe the 60 day trial for the filter ends on January 14, 2005. The filter seems to be treating odors well down by the Leeper Park area. However, some odors are still noticeable along the street as one travels up the hill to the California/Leeland/Riverside intersection. We may be able to install some control valves in the sewer to help keep this odor from escaping to street level through catch basins. These control valves will be out of sight, so I assume there is no need to petition the HPC for that installation. Please let me know if my assumption is not correct. Thank you. Kenneth E.
