8) Ms. Oxian may terminate her services to the HPC upon thirty days written notice delivered
to the HPC at or prior to a regular monthly meeting of the HPC. This notice period may be
shortened if health or other urgent circumstances require.
9) Upon termination of Ms. Oxian's services, whether by mutual consent or not, Ms. Oxian
shall promptly return to HPC any of HPC's materials, documents, or tangible property of
any kind which she acquired from the HPC, or as a consequence of services rendered for
HPC, or which she produced for HPC.
10) This Contract shall remain in effect from the date it is signed by all parties, until December
31, 2004, or until it is canceled or terminated by either of the parties.
11) If at any time the HPC, the HPC Treasurer, or the HPC Executive Committee determines
that funds are no longer available in the HPC budget to pay for transcription services
through an outside contractor, without compromising other HPC services and operations,
then the HPC shall cancel this contract. If the HPC should find it possible to obtain
adequate transcription services from another person or company for less money than the
amount charged by Ms. Oxian, then the HPC shall cancel this contract.
12) This Contract shall be interpreted according to Indiana Law, and shall bind the parties,
. their agents, assigns, and successors in interest.
