CALLED TO ORDER <br />JOHN OXIAN: Called meeting to order at 7:33. <br />II. PUBLIC HEARING <br />A. CERTIFICATES OF APPROPRIATENESS <br />1. 2004-0304; Leeper Park West; remove box elder or other trees. <br />JULIE SCHUTTE: (See staff report attached to C of A). The homeowner, Don Sappington, was present. <br />DIANE WROBEL-ILLES: Is this insect native to our area? <br />GERALD UJDAK: Yes, it is a very common insect in our area. <br />DON SAPPINGTON: This is a two-day supply from inside of our living room. This does not include the <br />ones that are in the basement. (Brought sample in for commission members to look at). <br />JULIE SCHUTTE: Are they mainly in one portion of the house, or have they spread throughout the house? <br />DON SAPPINGTON: No, they come in through the front of the house and they hibernate under the <br />shingles in our house.
